Less than an hour ago, the Greek government announced the list of 29 countries from which it will accept tourists starting June 15.
Unfortunately, the USA is not included and authorities say the current list will be expanded on or after July 1.
These are the approved countries announced today:
Albania, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea and Switzerland
Greece’s current travel bans will continue to apply to all other countries and the list is expected to be updated and expanded as of July 1. Most importantly, current exclusions relate to where the flight originates from and not to the traveler’s nationality.
